Prayer is a lifeline for our spiritual life and a sweet time to have fellowship with our creator. We can see there are several types of prayers in the Bible and we might have them in our prayer lives. Prayer of praise, thanksgiving, petition, deliverance, healing, repentance, guidance and so on. As we enter in to the new year, it is a time when many of us come up with new year resolutions for our personal and professional growth. We love to grow in all aspects of life and it is certainly important. But how many of us desire for spiritual growth? Many times we don’t consider to evaluate our growth in this area of life. Do you know if you have grown spiritually this year? We know how much dedication, discipline and effort are needed to grow in other areas of life but do we realize what it takes to grow spiritually? Apostle Paul prayed an amazing prayer for spiritual growth for his readers and it can teach us for our growth as well.
Do you have clarity in life? Let us face it, many of us get overwhelmed with uncertainty about future and lot of questions linger in our minds. Our focus gets shifted to the immediate problems and we feel being taken over by the circumstances in life. How can we see clearly in the midst of all that is happening around us? What gives such clarity in life? Let us ponder on these questions in this post.
Prayer can mean many things to many people. For some, prayer is a tradition to be followed and for some it is the lifeline to communicate with God. What does it mean to you personally? When we pray, do we have confidence that our prayer is heard and will be answered? If we have this confidence, our prayer becomes a medium to fellowship with God rather than a tradition and it will remove our fears knowing God’s providence at work. How can we get this confidence?
