The Bible says the word of God is a seed. It has life and can produce fruits when planted in our lives. Are you planting this seed and bearing fruits or living a superficial spiritual life without any fruits? In the last post – Living a fruitful life (Part 1), we saw how we need to prepare our hearts and receive God’s word. Let’s continue the remaining part in this post.

Living a fruitful life (Part 1)
Every seed carries life and has the potential to be fruitful. It can grow and produce fruits only if it is planted. The Bible says the word of God is a seed. It has life and can produce fruits when planted in our lives. Are you planting this seed and bearing fruits or living a superficial spiritual life without any fruits? In this series of posts (Part 1 & 2), let us explore how we can plant God’s word to produce its desired outcome in our lives.
Amazing Faith
Many of us love to be spectators in life and satisfied being in the audience. This applies to our faith as well. We love to be marveled about God but never move further in real faith. We are content with our amazement and continue to be spectators of God’s blessings. Are you a spectator or an active participant in faith?
Our Greatest Need
What is your greatest need in life? Think about it, If this question was asked about 10 or 20 years earlier, what might have been your response? What about after 10 or 20 years from now? Do you think you will have the same response? For many of us, the answer may be different at different stages in life. What if we can ask someone who knows our complete life? You see, We are God’s creation; God knows our greatest need in life and he is more than willing to fulfill the need. In this post, i would like to ponder upon this question of our greatest need in life.
Living Above Circumstances
Circumstances can drive and direct our life, unless we learn to live above them. Many of us live in disappointment, depression and stress when we allow circumstances to drive our life. Instead, the Bible asks us to trust in God promising God will direct our paths. If we want to live above life’s circumstances, we need to trust God with whole heart. Do you trust in God or trust in other options?
Victorious Life
We are called to live a victorious life. A life which glorifies our creator. We cannot be victorious unless we overcome something. We do have battles to fight and strongholds to conquer. Many of us prefer to ignore this reality of conflict and state of war. We face setbacks in our spiritual journey, but do not realize that there is an enemy working behind those failures. God has called us to be victorious through Jesus Christ. He gave us all provisions to be conquerors. It will be beneficial to realize the reality of our battle and the provisions God has given us to be victorious.
Working for God’s Glory
God created each one of us as a masterpiece for his glory. Is your life as a whole glorifying God? Many of us separate life into different areas like spiritual, family, friends, work, social etc., We understand that we are called to glorify God in these areas but we also take it optional in some areas. Lets talk about work in this post. We spend most of our time everyday in work and it is a major part in our life. What is your view of work? How does that view fit into living your whole life for God’s glory?
Balanced Parenting
Children are a blessing and a gift from God. Parents are granted privilege in bringing up children. It is a fulfilling experience but can also be hard at the same time. Many struggle to find the right balance between being authoritative and being permissive in parenting. We tend to over do and end up in either of the extreme. Overtime, this can have negative impact. How can we balance this in parenting? Let us read from Apostle Paul’s advice on this topic.
Unity In Marriage
Do you and your spouse think alike all the times? In a married relationship, many of us expect our spouse to think alike but end up frustrated when it goes the other way. When two people coming from different background, family tradition and other diversities join in marriage, it is most likely that they will think and act differently. Robert C Dodds rightly said, “The goal in marriage is not to think alike, but to think together“. This oneness is very essential in marriage. In this post, i want to share from scripture on how we can achieve unity in our married lives.
Living Everyday With Purpose
Everyday is a precious gift for our life. Are we using it meaningfully and effectively? God created us for a purpose and provisioned us with everything to walk in his purpose. Yet, many of us consider it lightly on how we spend every day. We fill our days with all kinds of activities and fail to be good stewards of time. In this post, i want to motivate you from the book of Ephesians on how we can spend everyday with purpose.
